The Wooodles: Stretching Your Imagination

Imagination is a wonderful gift. If encouraged in childhood, it can continue a lifetime. When you look in the clouds, shadows or puddles, the fanciful creatures you see are really Wooodles. Watercolor artist Perla Fox discovered Wooodles in her warm-up exercises when her own children saw whimsical characters in her splashes & squiggles. Child psychologist Deborah Lieberman, feels that finding & making Wooodles will encourage children to express themselves creatively. To assist in this discovery, Fox collaborated with Lieberman in writing humorous verses & developing fun activities for THE WOOODLES. Fox's brightly colored free-form pictures are a starting point.
