The pilot's outline guide to basic aerodynamics

The purpose of this book is to focus entirely on aerodynamics which would be user friendly to all new aviation students and also serve as an instructional guide for flight instructors. It has been the author's observation that beginning flight students may not have a solid grasp of basic aerodynamics, thus creating possible problems when these pilots are working towards advanced pilot ratings like the commercial or flight instructor certificates. The author feels the problem is due in part because aerodynamic principles are either contained in an overly complicated textbook or are only given partial treatment in general aviation books. This book, therefore, has been written to fill the gap between the overly simple and the overly complex, and will hopefully provide a solid foundation of the basics.
