Dr. Bob Moorehead has been the pastor of Overlake Christian Church in Kirkland, Washington for over 25 years. He has seen the church grow from 90 people to a congregation of over 6000 today. His very active and successful ministry there emphasizes evangelism, teaching and counseling. Dr. Moorehead holds a Ph.D. from California School of Theology as well as an undergraduate degree from Phillips University and a Bachelor of Divinity degree from The Graduate Seminary. He is the author of 9 other books. Bob and his wife Glenita live in Kirkland, Washington. They have three grown children: Darla, Tammi, and Jeff and they enjoy nine grandchildren.

This book is written because a national crisis exists in our homes, the solution of which usually goes right back to the head of the household ( or the person who is supposed to be the head of the household), the husband. When the person who has been assigned the task of being the leader, the source, the bedrock of the home is out of alignment with God's purposes, everything else tumbles like dominoes. This is a handbook dedicated to get us back on track with the most important task in the world... being God's kind of husband to our wives.
