Yesterday's Warriors

YESTERDAY'S WARRIORS is the story of a battalion of 750 young men who fought in five major campaigns in Europe during the Second World War. When the fighting was over, it marked the beginning of a friendship that has lasted for more than 55 years, and one that still continues today in ever increasing intensity. The reader will learn how these veterans regard today's world, compared with the civilian world they re-entered in 1945, and also how they are coping with their advancing years.
