The incidents referred to in this book occurred after he had resigned from his position as a flight attendant with Australia's international airline QANTAS, to begin his commercial flying studies. While in the final stages of training for his Commercial Pilot's License, the aircraft he was flying had an engine failure. During the emergency descent, the aircraft struck unseen power lines, broke up & crashed. The near-fatal wreck resulted in the author suffering dreadful injuries, including a severely crushed & broken spine, causing total paralysis from his waist down.
