Recollections of Pioneer Days in Georgia: Memoirs record first use of word "GOOGLE"

Creation of word GOOGLE by a Black Man in 1830's is recorded in author's Memoirs, which also makes this book the first time the word GOOGLE ever appears in print. Included is a brief history of the the early days in Antebellum Western Georgia (Columbus) 1830-1855--as told in the form of Memoirs by the father of former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Joseph Rucker Lamar.
