Description:
Miss Mallard truimphs in Seville! While on holiday in sunny Spain to attend a flamenco festival, Miss Mallard, the world-famous ducktective, and her nephew Willard Widgeon of the Swiss police, become involved with intrigue. A painting by Miss Mallard's great friend, El Ducko, Spain's wealthiest artist and guardian of poor and needy ducks, is stolen. Miss Mallard goes undercover as a flamenco dancer to "quack" the case, which she connects to a terrorist's plot by a notorious gang called the Scorpions. This is the sixteenth book and the first chapter book in Robert Quackenbush's popular Miss Mallard Mysteries that are currently being made into animated films for children's worldwide television programming by Cinar Corporation in co-production with Shanghai Animation Film Studio. The story and illustrations for this book were used in the development of Episode 16 of the half-hour animated film series that premiered in September 2000 on Canada's Teletoon Network and will be premiering around the world in 2001.
