Description:

Frank Johnson Selections is a new international wine brokerage business, incorporated in 2004 as an agent for fine wines produced from all over the world. Originally conceived with little-known values in the Bordeaux region, Frank Johnson Selections soon rapidly expanded to Burgundy, Loire, Champagne, the Rhône, the Sudouest, Provence, Languedoc-Roussillon, Cognac, Armagnac, and Calvados. Frank Johnson has been writing about wine for over thirty nine years, has written two books on the subject (Professional Wine Reference, The World of Wine), and has been importing it to the U.S. for thirty five years. Having grown up in Europe, he speaks several different languages, and he believes that the process of selecting and importing wines relates to dealing with foreign cultures and getting to know the vintners on their own terms, in their own language-while personally tasting and selecting the best cuvées. So while Frank Johnson Selections started as a division devoted entirely to French wines, this was only the beginning.
