Latin as an Honour Book 1 (Volume 1)

Latin as an Honour takes young Latin learners from scratch to public school scholarship/pre-GCSE standard in three parts. It engenders precision in manipulation of the language and lays thorough grammatical foundations by working from English into Latin from the outset, exercises being punctuated by clear explanations and narrative Latin prose passages which develop pupils’ reading skills. This volume covers ISEB’s Common Entrance Level 1 syllabus. A grammatical glossary, summary of grammar and syntax, and a two-way vocabulary are provided. An answer book is available.
