Presbyterians in Ireland: An Illustrated History

Since the early 17th century there has been a significant Presbyterian presence in Ireland, chiefly in the north, in Ulster, as teh result of waves of immigration fro mScotland. If we are to understand modern Irish history we need to take into account their distinctive role in that history, beginning with their 17th-century coloisation of Ulster and their part in the crises of that colony in the 1640s and the "conflict of the kings" of 1689-1691.
