Judas Iscariot and Other Poems

These are new poems by Knut Odegard, translated into English for the first time. The poems are written as short narratives and explore religion, personal reminiscences of growing up in Norway, on the wild and wonderful coast of Molde; the longer title poem is a mini-life of Judas Iscariot, an analysis of his meeting and dealings with the Christ, and of what brought him to the moment of betrayal.
