Current Research in Egyptology 2008: Proceedings of the Ninth Annual Symposium

Fifteen papers from the annual symposium, which showcase the diversity of new research in Egyptology. Themes include artefacts and dating, linguistcs, architecture, tomb art, warfare and early modern western perceptions of Egypt. As befits the setting of the conference, the KNH centre of Biomedical Egyptology, a particular focus of the volume is the application of scientific techniques in Egyptology, especially in the analysis of mummies.
