The Fighting Without and the Fear Within: Involved with the Older Teenager

The purpose in the author’s mind for this book is to strive for more community and church involvement for the older teenager. This is the period in life called adolescence, a word introduced by Western Society. It is that time when the teenager is either a child dependent on his/her parents still, or independent, now an adult, as if they are stuck on a bridge of decision, between dependence and independence.
