Yiddish theatre in London

The only comprehensive work on Yiddish theatre in Britain. Originally published in 1987 to coincide with the exhibition of the same name at the Museum of the Jewish East End at the National Theatre in London. Since then, the Jewish Museum has come into existence and the exhibition was re-mounted and the publication updated to this second edition.
