Sydney a Portrait

Some call Sydney the Cinderella City. From its humble origins as a filthy settlement populated by convicts and the undesirables of society, it has, in a mere 200 years, grown into the beautiful, sophisticated and elegant masterpiece that is today the showplace of the nation. Unlike Cinderella, however, Sydney has never left the Ball. The mood of a city of many cultures, of much life and vitality, of natural wonders and beautiful buildings but a city of individuals is captured in the photographs of Kevin Diletti with precision and flair. Diletti makes the harbour and the city centre, the coast and the suburbs, the commerce and leisure of Sydney's inhabitants part of his study.
