Your differences can be your greatest strength! When you and your spouse were dating, you had everything in common. You shared dreams, values, interests and desires. But after the wedding, you began to see more differences than you could count. Things like: One of you listens to Top 40 music, the other enjoys country. You can't agree on the number of kids to have, or how to raise them. One of you wants to save money, while the other thrives on spending it. Some differences seem minor. Others are clearly more serious. People often feel that differences in marriage are simply to be endured or eliminated. In fact, incompatibility is one of the most frequently used excuses for divorce in our culture. But differences are actually a part of God's plan for marriage -- even yours!
