Basic Doppler Physics

Intended for residents, radiologist, sonographers, and vascular technologists who are familiar with B-mode ultrasonography but have little knowledge of Doppler physics or physics in general. The Doppler effect, Doppler signal processing, and examples of use of Doppler devices are presented in a clear and concise manner. In addition, methods for producing color flow images, using both Doppler processing and time-domain correlation, are clearly described. |
