Understanding the Bible: Essays in theology and apologetics

Sixteen papers on a wide range of subjects, ranging from tongue-speaking to the Trinity, from evolution to eschatology. The author taught on the seminary level for forty years till his death in 1996. An amateur geologist and an avid reader, he was concerned to give full credit to the biblical text as the completely trustworthy message of the God who cannot lie, while simultaneously treating the data of nature and history in a responsible manner. Many hundreds of his students throughout the years have been blessed by his faithful and careful work.
