Description:
This text is a compilation of papers written to address critical issues facing the family. In them I attempt to present helpful intervention strategies and seek to uncover harmful believes and misconceptions. The reader is encouraged to give the introduction careful consideration as it lifts up many pressing needs facing the family. A biblical theology of marriage is offered in chapter one. In it I attempt to differentiate between the covenant and contract notions of marriage. Effective approaches to family ministry is meant to serve as a guide; not the last word. In fact, it is my hope that these chapters will serve as a catalyst so that the reader will pursue further studies relative to marriage and family.
