Respond / Conversion : An Experience of Conversion (Workbook companion for "Blessed Are They," Matthew Series)

The Respond Series: Consists of a series of programs, each lasting about three months, which focus in turn on each of the five commitments found in His Way. The programs are explicitly a Scripture study: they go through Matthew's Gospel chapter by chapter, verse by verse taking up each of the five Commitments in turn as they appear in the Gospel and going into them in depth. The meetings are built around the "See, Judge, Act" method. Each meeting includes a clear explanation of the theme and goal of the meeting, discussion questions, an "input" section which clarifies the Scripture and related points of Catholic doctrine, and time for prayerful reflection and decision-making. Each meeting also proposes a specific method of prayer to be used until the next meeting. Respond/Conversion: A program of sixteen meetings on Matthew, chapters 3 & 4 plus the Beatitudes (Mt. 5: 1-12). The focus of all these meetings is on conversion and the experience of God. The program uses the book Blessed Are They for input and adds two more methods of prayer to the nine already learned in Respond/Jesus.
