Mapping Earth Science Translated

This book was conceived as a "read, learn, practice, and do" book to assist in the acquisition of basic mapping skills. It is a book for the novice designed to present simple spatial relationships as they impinge on the reading, interpreting, and construction of maps.Imbedded in the process of "learning" about maps, it is hoped that there would be a transmittal of a sense of joy in being able to find one's way about the surface of the earth. Maps are passports to imaginative voyages yet unfulfilled.
