Child Care Safety

This book provides parents a resource for making a better-informed decision in selecting which daycare center to place their child. The author, a distinguished safety educator, discusses what safety hazards to look for when parents do a first walk-through of the center. Also discussed are licensing requirements for daycare centers. Also included is important information on adult health in child care: Does the center require physical examinations of its employees? Immunization records? The the center have a wellness program.
