Navigation Rules: Rules of the Road

Required on board all vessels 12 meters or more in length. Navigation Rules (Rules of the Road) is one of the items a Coast Guard boarding officer will ask for during routine "safety" inspections. David Burch has done an excellent job of emphasizing distinctions between the inland and international rules. His annotated table of contents allows the user to quickly and accurately access individual rules. This edition is more compact, easier to use, and less expensive than the U.S. Department of Transportation edition. Yet, it fulfills all requirements for having a copy of Navigation Rules aboard all vessels over 12 meters in length.
