The Mark of Blasphemy (Prophetic Series)

The Mark Of Blasphemy is a paperback book with a bright red cover in the background of which are two large Greek letters in a soft grey color. The two letters are Chi and Rho, the abbreviation for Christ. In black letters superimposed over the Chi and Rho is the title of the book, The Mark Of Blasphemy, and three further Greek letters In the 16th chapter of Revelation in the Textus Receptus, a Greek text of the New testament, these letters are given to represent the mark of the Beast. Bible students often refer to this "Beast" as the Antichrist. The Beast, a future world dictator, will have his subjects take this identifying mark in their forehead or hand to separate those who choose affiliation with the Beast from those who remain faithful to God.

Interpretive confusion regarding this mysterious mark has persisted from the time of the early church. Using Gematria or Numerology, a mystical system of assigning a number to a letter in order to find concealed or hidden truth in the numerical value of words, the early church fathers determined the mark of the Beast to be the number 666. The practice has persisted down through the years; so much so, in fact, that modern translations, rather than interpret the three Greek letters found in the Textus Receptus, have instead translated them as six hundred sixty and six. The mark of the Beast is not 666 but what the three Greek letters represent.

For Christians to use the occult to interpret any part of the Bible is absurd. This book supplies the details on how Satan has cleverly disguised this truth by presenting what it is not rather than what it is!
