Mark of the Bear Claw

Caught in the furor of Pontiac's rebellion on Fort Detroit in 1763, Makow, a young Odawa, reluctantly escapes with his grandfather, who wants the boy to make his vision quest along the distant shores of Lake Michigan. But the journey leads Makow to more violence as he joins an attack on the English at Fort Michilimackinac, and to the stunning revelation that he must find a twin brother who was separated from his family as an infant.
