Exploring with Pattern Blocks

Exploring with Pattern Blocks (Grades 4-8) is designed to help develop concretely many problem-solving skills. By using pattern blocks in this problem-solving format, students are introduced to, and develop skills in utilizing strategies such as guess and check, looking for a pattern, using logical thinking, drawing a picture, making a list, using a table, and modeling.
