The First Thing

Poetry. THE FIRST THING is a chapbook consisting of nine poems that explore our relationships to one another and to the world in which we live. Kirwan's poetry asks questions about what connects us to love, to our childhoods, to dreams, to the future, and even to the electric and telephone companies.
