Boys Town Prayer Book: Prayers by and for the Boys and Girls of Boys Town

Prayer has been important in the lives of Boys Town children since Father Flanagan opened the doors of his Home for Boys in 1917.

This book is a collection of prayers, traditional and modern, Protestant and Catholic, and reflections written by Father Flanagan and the children of Boys Town. It is used daily by our youth.

The prayers in this book offer solace in times of sorrow, strength in times of temptation, hope in times of despair, and joy in times of thanksgiving.

For as Father Flanagan once told his boys, "All growth must come from inside - by starting with yourself, you should realize that within you, you have the germ of goodness, based upon faith in Almighty God."
