Atlas of Coastal Geomorphology and Zonality

Coastal geomorphology focuses on the dynamic interface between the ocean and the land by incorporating the physical geology, geography, and oceanography of the world's coasts. Through a thorough understanding of coastal weathering processes, specifically wave action, sediment movement, and meteorological events, both eustatic and isostatic changes can be derived. This JCR Special Issue draws on those principles to provide a comprehensive collection of coastal geomorphological papers and maps from around the world. Dr. Dieter H. Kelletat, expert from the Institute of Geography at the University of Essen in Germany, served as the principal editor for this Special Issue.
