Cross-Stitch Gifts for Children

One of a collection of four cross-stitch books published simultaneously, this volume contains instructions for nearly 20 projects suitable as gifts for children, and is aimed at both the beginner and the more experienced needleworker. The projects include items such as hand toys, a chair-back and cushion, a baby-basket cover and a patchwork quilt, and incorporate designs and characters from nursery rhymes and fairy tales. The instructions are accompanied by thread charts, diagrams which illustrate basic skills and stitches, and colour photographs of the finished pieces.
