Scales for Rating the Behavioral Characteristics of Superior Students

Based on a multiple talent approach to the identification of gifted students, these scales help identify student strengths in the areas of learning, motivation, creativity, leadership, art, music, dramatics, planning, and communication. The manual includes information about how the revised scales were developed as well as guidelines for using the scales, easy-to-follow instructions for developing local norms, and reproducible teacher training activities to help teachers understand how to use the scales and rate students. A complete non-reproducible sample set of scales is also included in the manual.
