Barnhart's Never-finished Political Dictionary of the 21st Century

Barnhart's Never-finished Political Dictionary of the 21st Century, edited by lexicographer David K. Barnhart, is a compilation of modern terms that have entered the English language largely as a result of the last five presidential political campaigns in the United States. Many of the almost 1,000 words and phrases included are new to the dictionary record having burst into the public consciousness in the most recent elections. Words such as: alt-right, election stress disorder, headline porn, sanctuary city, Twitter diplomacy, and dozens more are included. Available December 16, 2016
