Love Breaks (Discoveries)

First published in Chile in 1981 and immediately banned by the government, this collection of love poems presents a meditative dialogue about desire as well as anger. Forming a narrative about a love where the beloved is relegated to memory alone, the poems also express a test of boundary between a nostalgic sense of order and contemporary aspects of disorder, and between the self and external relationships.
