This Fourth Book stands in relation to Agrippa's other three undisputed books of Occult Philosophy much in the same way as a laboratory manual stands to a text on theoretical Chemistry or Physics. It seeks to make explicit and demonstrable that which is implicit in the more theoretical three books: it is devoted to praxis rather than theory. To the extent that it succeeds as a manual, without doing damage to the theoretical base upon which it is founded, it remains the work of Agrippa or of his school and as such a fitting epilogue to the three books of "Occult Philosophy". - From the Publisher
