This book is the student's bridge from Spanish to English A study guide written in simple Spanish for Spanish speakers learning English which helps them relate their native Spanish to English. Each short chapter, divided into two sections, In Spanish and in English, covers one grammar point a part of speech (noun, verb, pronoun), a word s function in a sentence, (subject, object), a grammatical term (conjugation, possessive, tense). Grammar is first explained as it applies to Spanish then presented as it applies to English, stressing the similarities/differences between the two languages and pointing out pitfalls. There are many examples in Spanish and English.
