Description:
The aim of sufism is the realization of the Truth, and the sufi is one who moves towards the Truth by means of love and devotion. Since only one who has reached Perfection is capable of realizing the Truth, the sufi strives his utmost to become a "Perfected One". Both inwardly and outwardly, a "Perfected One" is the manifestation of the Divine Attributes. Having become one with the Absolute, such a being is freed from the relativity of "I" and "we". He is a mirror which perfectly reflects God. When one looks upon him, one sees nothing but the Truth.
