This updated and expanded re-issue of the “mini-monograph” that Douglas Lewis wrote to accompany an exhibition of drawings of Andrea Palladio is still the only work on its subject in English. This book also brought together the documentary evidence for Palladio as the primary designer of elaborately painted and decorated interiors.
