One of the most remarkable descriptions of sexual episodes to come out of the Victorian era is a provocative exchange of letters between a young lady and man recording their true experiences in an Arabian harem and an English girls' reformatory. Reportedly published in 1905, the letters reveal the exploits of Charles, a handsome 30-year-old who finds employment in a home for wayward girls, and Lizzie, an impetuous lass who makes herself privy to all the pleasures of a royal harem.
