Arboria: Debora Moore

This catalogue memorializes the debut of "Arboria: Debora's Moore" as one of the inaugural exhibitions in the Rebecca and Jack Benaroya Wing at Tacoma Art Museum. Moore created four life-sized glass trees that celebrate the mystery and beauty of nature throughout the seasons. Already nationally renowned for her exquisite sculptures of orchids, Moore achieved an astonishing new level of technical achievement with her new four sculptures exploring the seasons. Using the translucency, colors, and fragility of glass as a metaphorical foundation, Moore hopes that her sculptures will encourage deeper consideration of our connections to the natural world.
