Dr. Duerksen's walk of faith takes him from his humble upbringing in the heart of South America to medical training in Argentina and Canada, leading him through a cholera epidemic in Ethiopia, eventually spending much of his life treating leprosy sufferers in Brazil and Paraguay. A Mission with Passion recounts true experiences of hope, miracles, and even laughter, among some of the most rejected individuals on earth.
