Description:
This book draws together many threads. Though they differ widely in basic focus, all of them relate in some manner to the planet Mars and to the apparent effect which that body is able to exert on human decisions and reactions. Stock Market investors and analysts will find the first three chapters of particular interest, as they deal with the basis upon which this author was able to predict the "bottom" which occurred in the fall of 1987. In Sun Spots, Stars and the Stock Market, published in 1979 under a different name, the author stated on page 68: The 4 1/2 year cycle which begins in 1983 should end in the typical trough formation at a point between six and twelve months prior to the Martian retrograde station occurring on August 27, 1988, that is, toward the end of 1987. Chapter 3 contains a forecast of basic market moves to the year 2000, utilizing the principles established in the earlier book. Sociologists and addiction researchers will find Chapter 4 intriguing, as it presents the results of an investigation into the Astrology of alcoholism. Chapter 5 traces the amazing correlation between outbreaks of military aggression and close approaches of Mars to the earth, leaving no doubt whatever that an influence of some kind is in operation. Subsequent chapters present interpretations of all possible Martian conjunctions when found in a birth-chart, and will be of interest to students and practitioners of Astrology. These explanations were derived in the same manner as the material in the author's earlier text, Astrology Plus. The present book is compulsory reading for all who are intrigued by the prospect of discovering the "reality behind reality."
