For a few years in the early 1970s, the Montreal Story Teller Fiction Group delighted and challenged audiences in Montreal and beyond. Reunited here through memoirs written for this volume, the five members of the group-Hugh Hood, John Metcalf, Ray Smith, Raymond Fraser, and Clark Blaise-once more exhibit the energy, intelligence, and the love of their craft that have made their books so important a contribution to Canadian fiction.
