Boss Gardener: The Life and Times of John McLaren

Boss Gardener is a highly personal portrait of Golden Gate Park's most famous superintendent. For over half a century John McClaren preserved and protected San Francisco's most prized possession. His influence effected many positive changes for the Park, and he was instrumental in developing much of Golden Gate Park as it is today.
