Presents the work of two Ohio architects whose modernist work spans fourty years. The firm of Strauss/Roush built many residences, public buildings and offices in and around the Cincinnati area. Most notable are the Reed residence and the Bird House for the Cincinnati Zoo. Their work is presented through black and white photographs by award-winning photographer Corson Hirschfeld. Extensive essay by architecture critic Jayne Merkel, introduction by Michael Graves, who worked for Strauss/Roush after his graduation from the University of Cincinnati.
