Still Another Pelican in the Breadbox is the last volume of Patchen's work, a slim miscellany of poems, essays, fiction, reviews put together to collect all of his unpublished writings, ranging from juvenalia to late work. If you are a fan of the work of the steel-country painter-poet, this is a relatively obscure volume you will need to complete your collection. It's probably not the first volume to read as an introduction to Patchen, but a good one to give fill you in on aspects of his life other than the well-known poems. (this review By Geoffrey A.
