This book represents a distillation of the long and widely acclaimed career of a distinguished American nature photographer, Ray Atkeson. Chosen by Mr. Atkeson himself, this collection has brought to bear a number od considerations, chief among is a proper representation geographically of his photography. So the book ranges over vast areas of the Northwest and the Southwest, where he has done most of his work, and includes Hawaii and some Rocky Mountain locales. All this is accompanied by an engaging textual commentary by Mr. Atkeson.
