The Memoirs of General Turner Ashby and His Compeers

This is a facsimile of the book originally published in 1867 by Selby & Dulaney. The original book, written by the chaplain of the Ashby Cavalry, used a combination of sources to compile the memoirs of General Turner Ashby as an example of the "prowess connected with honor" which was emblematic of so many of the brave southern soldiers during the Civil War.
