Catechism on Mary and the Pope Who Changed the World

The Marian Pope, Pope John Paul II, whom many call "The Great", had done so much to change the world and restore a balanced devotion to Mary and a deep knowledge of her as Mother of the Church. The remarkable life of Karol Wohtyla, who became Pope John Paul II, is the most outstanding example the author can present of one who had repeatedly consecrated his life and vocation to the Mother of God. His total consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary and his having lived it, is an inspiration to all. This catechism on Mary does not say all there is to say about God's Mother. That would be impossible. St. John wrote at the end of his Gospel, "If all were written down, the world itself, I suppose, would not hold all the books that would have to be written." If the world cannot hold all that would have to be written about Jesus, the Son, neither can it contain the story of Mary, who reflects His beauty and receives all from Him.
