Of all the light airplanes built in America since the 1930s, the Cessna series of monoplanes has emerged as one of the best known today to both airman and layman alike, spreading their wings to serve the needs of flight trainings, charter, corporate, private, agricultural and military aviation for over 50 years. The purpose of this book is to illustrate the Cessna airplanes built from 1946 through 1986 in a pictorial format, one that lends itself to the interests of the weekend pilot as well as the aero historian.
