Bunny

Bunny is a trickster character who dies in every poem or does something so stupid we wish that she would. These short poems celebrate the death of the idiot which we are all capable of being.

"It is interesting to note that throughout the book Bunny is dead. In killing Bunny, Bright consigns the old formula of female submission to the past. At the same time, she reveals the death wish hidden in the American dream, the impulse to conquer the continent which has led to the destruction of the ecosphere."
